A-519

This American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) specification is for seamless carbon and alloy tubing in various grades. Federal Steel Supply stocks A519 in seamless hot-finished mechanical tubing sizes 2” – 26”, and wall thicknesses up to 4”. Seamless pipe is used in a variety of industries, including automotive (gears, shafts, sleeves, collars, and hubs); energy (down hole applications, drill collars, drill bits, and gas lift mandrels); and farm machinery, construction equipment, and mining (heavy wall hydraulic cylinders, hollow shaft, gears, auger drive shafts). Seamless tubing can be supplied with a variety of annealing and hardening thermal treatments.
